Typings of a wayward hand

hurm. currently having midterm break. supposed to be studying, cos right after the break a test is coming up. a subject in which i have very little knowledge of. and even less interest. which sucks. cos i’ve failed this subject before. lol. some people just dont learn do they? and will be busy from thursday night til sunday, 2 weddings in 2 days. going to be bz like hell.

finally, after the 2 weddings and no funerals (lol), i am beat. but recovered the cash i spent buying the jansport bag during the sale. 50% off, from rm289 to rm145.

the evergrowing expanse…. that is my belly.  yes. i have gained a lot of weight these past few years. more than i would have liked. i used to be skinny and weak. now im not so weak, but with a bulging belly. zzzz. all of the catering work got to me. the food and the heavy lifting from it.

liquidation of assets

been selling off my stuff. mostly computer related. two pcs, and the 5 port switch. i should be making rm660. when they pay up that is. lol. should be getting it by the end of this month. which should give me a healthy bank balance. what would i do with the cash? my plans are: open a maybank account, then withdraw the cash and join empay.net. 3 lots. some sort of investment scheme. seems legit. lol. so that means scrapping the pc upgrade plans. lol. somewhere deep inside me is screaming out: wtf do u want to do upgrade ur pc every 6 months??? if u try to keep up with technology ur just be eating dust!!!
of course, i am partially listening to that scream. im temporarily shelving my plans of upgrading that pc. yes, just shelving, not scrapping. i do want to decently 1337 rig. at least one that pawns my current rig. which doesnt actually suck. its just that i could do with some faster everythings. from gaming to loading. so my next upgrade (hopefully by midyear) is a cpu, mobo, ram and graphics upgrade. pretty much everything. considering that ddr2 533mhz ram sticks are already out of date. which i am currently using. and the fact that ddr667 ram is priced the same as 533mhz rams. and with the 965 chipset mobos for core two duo cpus producing nice overclocks for the cpu and ram, i want them. of course, the intel 965 chipsets and core 2 duo mobos dont come cheap. so my upgrades would be (may change due to introduction of new stuff or a budget change): an e6300 or e4300 intel core 2 duo cpu, a biostar tforce 965@gigabyte P965 DS3 mobo, some 1/2gb ddr2 667 rams, and an ati X2xxx(unknown because it is yet to be released, but a midrange offering) or nvidia 8600ultra/8800gts 320mb.

yesterday i caught a chick. not human though. robin chick. barely able to fly, about the size of a ping pong ball. kept it overnight. then it refused to eat. so i let it out of the cage and held it. and it escaped and tried to fly. which it did. into the spinning ceiling fan. the impact slammed it into the wall and it ricocheted hafway through the room. after post mortem was done, the cause of death was believed to be a broken neck. it did kinda fly headfirst into the fan. and now i am full of guilt. i try not to kill anything other than insects, but i guess i am more inhumane than most other people i know. i should be an interrogator/torturer for the CIA or something.

went out with iqram. had nbtd. drove around looking out for lookout points in the hulu langat and bukit indah area. found the one at hulu langat. drove around until 3.30 am at the bukit indah area. couldnt locate it. then spun around and had a chat until 5am b4 sending him home. yeah, we basically had nbtd. hadnt met up for a while with him and were catching up on stuff. which we found out to be quite a lot of stuff. lol.

went to cousin’s house warming/doa selamat gathering/kenduri. at kota damansara. she got married late last year, now moving in. turns out her house is freaking near to 1utama, ikano power centre, and ikea. turns out again that she also lives freaking close to another cousin’s house, which is her cousin too(my sis is staying at this cousin’s house since its close to her workplace). lol.
i miss penang. hurm. wont be going back to penang for CNY. not sure when im going back to penang now. the earliest would be after this semester, which is around april or may. if i do go back. since my sister is staying and working in kl, and my father having plans for me to take courses in agriculture and working the land that he has in perak, i might never stay long term in penang. heck, the only reason i go back is to meet up with old friends. considering the fact that i aint no stuck up asshole that forgets that he/she has friends once he/she goes somewhere else (unlike 80% of the ppl i know), i (put effort in trying to) treasure and remember my friends. i’ve been moving around my whole life, losing lots of friends along the way, and having to make new friends often. when i was small, stayed in malacca. then moved to penang. then USA. in the USA changed schools 2 times, having to make new friends. the move back to malaysia, perak (grandma’s house). then back to penang. in penang changed secondary schools. hurm. so i have had to make new friends lots of times. and frankly, i’m bored of doing so.

hurm. in the US, florida was hit by tornados. estimated damages are about US$80 million. the signs are everywhere. where there is evil, there is god’s wrath. and Bush just doesnt get it yet. after what happened in New Orleans (the hurricane, leaving thousands dead), he still goes through with Iraq’s invasion. and now he is asking for more budget and more troops to be sent there. to die. and commit sins. most natural disasters that happen on earth have something to do with what’s happening there. it is god’s will, his payback. but we are just to stupid, blind and ignorant to heed these warnings. every 26th of december, there will/has been natural disasters happening everywhere. and it isnt just limited to 1 place. coincidence? lol hell no. just google it up. and with el nino coming up soon, the changing of sea currents, global warming, we are going to go through lots more shit. and yes, the end is near. so for those with a religion, make sure u learn more about it. and be more pious. for those without religion, find 1.

and by the way, i’m not one of those evangelistic preachers or anything. just merely stating the obvious that people ignore or just fail to realize. as i said many times before, idiots are everywhere. and yes, i am trying to rediscover my religion. been kinda lost most of my life.

ok, there was this catering(s). saturday night and sunday. saturday night just for 50 ppl, while sunday 1k (wedding). so the saturday job seemed simple enough. arrive, unload, setup buffet, then wait. but it turned out that the location in question was a flat. 15 stories high. with 1 working elevator. so everytime we wanted to get into the damn elevator, a dozen ppl just rush in, leaving us with no space to get in with the stuff. and since the time they wanted to eat had arrived, we resorted to carrying the damn stuff up the stairs to the fifth floor. not all of the stuff, but enough to awaken the 5 year old injuries.  only carried 2 trolleys worth of stuff up the elevator. so we worked like mules. and they finished eating at 1am. yes, that late. so after reaching home with just enough energy to crawl in bed, we slept. like hibernating bears. until we were awoken. we were spared from doing that morning’s cooking, but had to go to the wedding. our cries for a holiday were ignored due to change of plans. so we worked like mules again. with no energy left. imagine carrying trays of food to and fro, jugs of drinking water, kettles of the hand washing thingy, dirty plates and cups, clean plates and cups for 5 hours straight. getting the cleaning job is considered lucky. my legs were burning by then, considering the excercise we had done that day and the night before. walking and going up and down stairs suck when done while carrying 5-15kg loads. finally had some relief when it was my turn to do the dishes. managed to get shoes, socks and legs wet. reached home with soggy socks and shoes with wrinkled feet. took a bath and went out for dinner b4 releasing some tension and the last amount of energy we had at the cybercafe killing other ppl online in dota. those are one of the few days in life where u feel totally spent.

in other issues, i was disturbed at 2am. a friend had a flat motorcycle tyre while on his way back to klang. he was doing who knows what until 2am at kl, then on hish way back he got a flat tyre. and no money to get it fixed. luckily some1 stopped by with a spare tyre (how often do u see that?). but still, he didnt have enough money to pay for it. so it was up to me to bail his fucking ass out. hurm. i keep on stressing this: i am too kind. but this is me. part asshole, part good samaritan. and i had an assignment to finish, which was due the next morning when he called asking for help. i hate bothering or asking for help from other ppl and i hope/expect the same of others. but some people are born nuisances. i know of a few. but the dude i helped out wasnt one of those. but he always had an empty pocket which wasnt really helpful for his cause and mine.

there are various lies being spread around everywhere, by many entities. i was recently exposed to one. its a hyip: high yield investment program. these programs promise high dividends for the amount invested. the one i was introduced to promised 2-3% daily dividends from the amount invested. which means that in 50 days u get 100% profit. after doing some research (after joining the dan thing, lol), i found out what these programs were and their modus operandi. they do give u high dividends, but the nature of the program which  is to introduce people to get a certain percentage of their earnings makes it an MLM style program. so this makes the people taking part in it to invite more people. so more investors=more money coming. so this program, like many others before it, will run away with investor’s money when the owner deems fit, which is when he/she thinks that the money he would get is enough.
